Oil paintings created between April 2024 – today. The natural environment is always a source of inspiration, and these paintings comprise various places I have been and spent time in. The beaches of Karachi are increasingly a feature in this body of work, as a space that speaks to ideas of access (and its lack), class and privilege in this city. And of course, the lengths we go to seek out beauty and expanse.
